I have a wealth of experience in Financial services and particularly enjoy working with both Personal and Ltd Company Buy to Let clients along with helping the Self Employed and those who may suffered credit related issues. I aim to put myself in my clients shoes and help them through all stages of the mortgage journey, displaying knowledge, empathy and honesty no matter what their personal circumstances maybe.

I feel it is important to get to know my client’s individual situation by engaging in an honest conversation about where they are now, where they want to be in the future along with discussing their financial goals and expectations and managing them accordingly. I enjoy putting clients on a pathway to moving into their dream home whether that’s straight away or at a point in the future once attainable parameters have been outlined and then met.

Above and beyond

Whilst I pride myself on finding the right lender to fit the clients circumstances in order to obtain a mortgage offer in the quickest time possible, this is not always possible. I recall helping a client over a period of 18 months to finally be in a position to offer on their dream home. Unfortunately they were going through a messy divorce and as a result her credit file had taken a battering via spousal abuse. I was able to identify what was possible and when it was possible by clearly following an arranged plan to get her finances sorted and credit file back on track.

I identified the level of deposit she would require and highlighted the costs of moving which would come from the divorce settlement once it came through. I kept in contact with the client at regular intervals to check what progress was being made and reassured her she would be able to get an affordable mortgage once the time came. That time eventually came nearly 2 years after our initial contact but both her and her children are now enjoying living in their new family home and I was pleased to pay a small part in helping that dream come true.
