About us

Option Finance Ltd is an appointed representative of Finance Advice Group Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Our FCA reference number is 788478. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 10906532. Our registered office is 119A Friar Gate, Derby, Derbyshire, DE1 1EX.

Our services

We provide whole-of-market mortgage advice and broking services. We are not tied to any single lender and will search the market to find suitable products for your circumstances. Your initial consultation is free. For a straightforward case our broker fee is £499 in total: £299 on application and £200 when your mortgage offer is issued. The £299 is refundable if your application is declined, but not if you withdraw after it has been submitted. The fee is £999 where income is complex or there are some credit problems, and £1,499 for heavy adverse credit such as a bankruptcy, as far more work is involved. These are paid the same way: part on application, refundable if the mortgage is declined, and the rest when the mortgage offer is issued. Commercial and bridging fees are confirmed in writing. We explain and confirm all fees before you proceed.
